Melt butter and dark chocolate in a large mug using small increments of 10-15 seconds until melted. Give it a quick mix.
2 Tablespoons Butter, 3 (1 and ½) Tablespoons Dark Chocolate
Add room temperature milk, egg and sugar to slightly cooled down mixture. Using a small whisk mix till every thing gets well combined.
2 Tablespoons Milk, 1 large Egg, 3 Tablespoons Granulated sugar
Sift flour, cocoa, baking soda and baking powder over wet ingredients and fold till flour disappears into the batter.
3 Tablespoons All purpose flour, 1 teaspoon Unsweetened Cocoa Powder, ¼ teaspoon Baking Powder, ⅛ teaspoon Baking Soda
Drop a dollop of peanut butter into the batter and do not stir it. After baking, the nut butter will transform into a creamy melty texture that goes wonderfully well with cake.
1 Tablespoon Smooth Peanut Butter
Microwave for 1:30 minutes on full power. Carefully using a mitten take the mug out and check for doneness. If a tooth pick comes out mostly clean, it's done. If you see wet batter on tooth pick, cook it for another 30 seconds.
Pour the remaining peanut butter on top of warm cake and top with chocolate chips. Enjoy!
