You may use fresh berries when in season and replace with frozen berries (if not) when you crave these banana blueberry muffins with crumb topping

Banana blueberry muffins with crumb topping

Now as you have noticed in the pictures that I have made banana muffins with two kinds of crumb toppings.

  1. Went to town to top muffins with buttery and slightly crispy streusel.
  2. If you aren’t a fan of a ton of crumb (who are you!) you can reduce it to half or one third. Like I did here. ↓

My bakery style banana blueberry muffin recipe will delight you with its crunchy tops, juicy blueberries and soft interiors

Tastes so good both ways! I mean look at them.

This banana blueberry muffin recipe is my most favorite berry desserts. Yes, they taste like cupcakes minus the frosting!

Taste and texture of banana blueberry muffins

These muffins taste less like a muffin and more like a cupcake! No seriously! So fruity, soft, moist and fluffy inside. Paired with a buttery-crispy crumb and fresh blueberries in every bite.

Notes

How to store Banana Blueberry Muffins
You may store muffins filled with fruits at room temperature for a day or so. I'd suggest to store them in the refrigerator if needed to be stored any longer.
Can you freeze these muffins
Of course! These blueberry muffins can be frozen up to 2 months. Thaw them overnight in the fridge or microwave for around 30 seconds direct from the freezer.

I made these muffins this morning. Great texture and not overly sweet which I liked. Love all the blueberries in the mix. I added nuts to the streusel topping. Great recipe I will them again.

Blueberry muffins are always a winner in my family. I never made ones using banana. Such a great flavor addition not to mention is healthier. I will definitely give this recipe a try.
