What type of chocolate is recommended? Milk? Dark? What % cocoa? Thank you!
GreedyEats
Hi Margaret! I like to use dark chocolate, but you can use semi-sweet or even milk chocolate as per your taste preferences. But make sure to use a chocolate that's made for melting, not chocolate chips. I use chocolate from block that contains about 50-70% cocoa. Hope this helps.

I love making truffles from scratch. They make a very impressive gift that everyone appreciates. I love how detailed your instructions are and that you used three different coatings. I didn't realize that a chocolate bar was better for melting than chocolate chips. Thanks for the information.
